Who is responsible

Xuantify is responsible for the processing of personal data described here.

What we process, and why

Newsletter sign-ups. If you enter your email address to subscribe, we store that address, your name if you give one, the moment you subscribed and the IP address you subscribed from — the last as evidence of when and from where consent was given. We use this only to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe using the link in every issue.

Signing in. Parts of the site — such as the full analysis view — require signing in with Google. When you do, we receive your name and email address from Google and store them so we can recognise you on your next visit.

Email to us. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.

Technical data. When you visit the site, our server records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested. This is used to run the site and to protect it against abuse.

IP addresses kept with specific records. Beyond that general logging, your IP address is stored alongside your newsletter subscription (see above) and alongside each sign-in event. It is kept for as long as that record itself is kept.

Legal basis
